Golden Circle

This fantastic tour enjoys great popularity as several stunning locations are visited.  Our first destination is  Þingvellir, where Iceland’s parliament was established in 930 and was held there every summer for more than 800 years.   The scenery is spectacular at Þingvellir. Europe and America geologically meet there, or should I say split apart. Yes, Þingvellir is a so called rift valley one of only two on the earth.  This is explained on the tour.

Then, we head to Laugarvatn, a beautiful lake in a peaceful and romantic environment. Then, we keep on to Geysir. Probably the most famous hot spring in the world. When done there, our next location is Gullfoss, which is  the queen of Icelandic waterfalls. Finally we visit Kerið , incredible volcano crator with a beautiful blue pond in the centre.
