South Coast to Vík

Are you familiar with the name “Eyjafjallajökull”? Well, that´s the name of the Volcano which grounded majority of Europe air transfer in May 2010. We pass this beautiful volcano, surely it´s quiet now!
The theme of this tour is Volcanoes and Waterfalls – and of course the tour includes the amazing and world known Black Beach, in Icelandic “Reynisfjara”.
We take a look at the magnificent waterfall at Skógar in the vicinity of another famous volcano, Katla. There is another amazing waterfall in our route, Seljalandsfoss. In this tour our guests can see a number of known volcanoes, Hekla, Katla, Eyjafjallajökull and the Vestman Islands if weather conditions are decent.
Vík is a town on the South coast, surrounded by volcanoes, black beach and black volcanic sand. But there are beautiful green hills and black cliffs that protect the town.
We also visit the Solheimajökull glacier where you can view a stunning  glacier lagoon that has been forming last decades.
